1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the Gauge mobile application ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

Gauge is a nutrition app built for training. The App:

• Plans your daily fueling around your workouts and training schedule
• Syncs training activity from connected services such as Strava (optional)
• Provides nutritional information using AI-powered analysis
• Tracks food and water intake, including calories and macros
• Calculates personalized calorie and macro goals
• Offers AI coaching, meal reminders, and notifications
• Provides subscription-based premium features

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Gauge. Users between 13-17 must have parental consent. By using the App, you represent that you meet these age requirements.

4. Account Registration

• You must provide accurate and complete information
• You are responsible for maintaining account security
• You must notify us immediately of unauthorized access
• One account per user; no account sharing
• You are responsible for all activities under your account

5. Subscription and Payment

Free Version

• Limited to 5 food entries per day
• Basic nutritional tracking features
• Standard support

Premium Subscription

• Unlimited food entries
• Advanced analytics and insights
• Priority support
• Additional features as announced

Payment Terms

• Subscriptions are processed through Apple App Store or Google Play Store
• Prices are shown in your local currency
• You authorize recurring charges unless cancelled
• Free trial converts to paid subscription unless cancelled before trial ends
• Refunds handled according to App Store/Play Store policies

Cancellation

• Cancel anytime through your App Store/Play Store account settings
• Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period
• No refunds for partial billing periods
• Access to premium features continues until subscription ends

6. User Conduct

You agree NOT to:

• Violate any laws or regulations
• Infringe intellectual property rights
• Upload malicious code or viruses
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
• Use the App for commercial purposes without authorization
• Scrape, copy, or distribute content from the App
• Impersonate others or create false identities
• Harass, abuse, or harm other users
• Submit false or misleading information

7. Nutritional Information Disclaimer

• Nutritional data is estimated and may not be 100% accurate

• We are not responsible for health outcomes resulting from App use

8. Health and Safety

• The App is designed for generally healthy adults
• Certain medical conditions require professional supervision when changing diet
• Stop using the App if you experience adverse health effects
• Emergency situations require immediate medical attention, not app use

9. Intellectual Property

• Gauge and all content, features, and functionality are owned by us
• You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App
• You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works
• User-generated content remains yours, but you grant us license to use it for service provision
• You retain rights to your food logs and personal data

10. AI-Generated Content

• Nutritional information may be generated using AI (Anthropic Claude)
• AI-generated content may contain errors or inaccuracies
• We do not guarantee accuracy of AI-generated information
• Users should verify important nutritional information with authoritative sources

11. Data Privacy

• Your privacy is governed by our Privacy Policy

• You consent to data collection and processing by using the App
• You can request data deletion at any time

12. Third-Party Services

14. Termination

By You
